Hot Meals Every Evening
The kitchen is open every evening with freshly cooked counter meals — generous portions at proper prices. Chicken schnitzel, steak, seafood, burgers and weekly specials. Nothing beats a real sit-down meal after a shift underground. Thursday is Parmi Night, Wednesday is Burger Night, Sunday is Pizza and Roast.
On-Site Laundry
Washing machine and dryer available for guests. Essential for anyone on an extended stay or working rotation. Ask at the bar for access.
The Bar — A Place to Decompress
Cold beers, good company and a relaxed public bar where you can properly wind down after the shift. Pool table, gaming, Keno and a bottle shop for when you want to take something back to your room. The bar has been the social centre of the Rosebery mining community for generations.

About the Rosebery Mine
The MMG Rosebery Mine is one of Australia's longest-running and most significant mining operations — celebrating 90 years of continuous production in 2026. It's an underground polymetallic mine producing zinc, lead, copper, silver and gold from one of the world's largest ore bodies of its type, reaching depths of more than 1.5 kilometres underground.
The mine employs more than 700 permanent employees and contractors and is a cornerstone of the west coast Tasmanian economy. The Top Pub has been serving the Rosebery mining community since 1930 — from the early days of the Electrolytic Zinc Company through EZ, Pasminco, Zinifex, OZ Minerals and now MMG. Generation after generation of miners and their families have come through these doors.

The Top Pub is at 8 Agnes Street, Rosebery TAS 7470 — in the centre of Rosebery township on the corner of Agnes Street, the town's main street. The MMG Rosebery Mine is a short drive from the pub. Parking is available on the street and in the adjacent area.
Check-in is from 2:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. For early check-in or late check-out arrangements, call ahead and we'll do what we can.
